Imminent threat of aliens capturing your mind

Dec 2, 2025

The audacity of the Breaking Bad creator’s new TV show, Pluribus, isn’t showing war, climate collapse, or technology going rogue. It is something far more horrifying: The silent theft of the human mind.

This isn’t an alien invasion in the Hollywood sense. There are no spaceships, no laser fights, no screaming cities. Instead, Pluribus imagines a subtler, more elegant apocalypse — one where an unseen intelligence slips into human consciousness and quietly rewrites it. Memories blur, emotions flatten, individual thought dissolves and starts following the herd. People keep smiling, working, living and enjoying fringe luxurious benefits … but the authentic self getting slowly erased.

That’s where the real horror begins.

And one woman stands against all this.

The series thrives on psychological tension rather than spectacle. It asks a brutally unsettling question: if your body is still yours, your life still intact, your world is beautiful, luxurious, socialistic, almost Utopian, but your mind is no longer your own — are you still free? Do you represent free will of humanity?

What makes Pluribus so effective is its restraint. The fear is in the pauses, the small changes, the eerie calm where passion and dissent used to live. Unity feels less like peace and more like programming.

This isn’t just science fiction.
It’s a warning wrapped in a whisper.

And once it gets inside your head… it doesn’t let go.

It's streaming on Apple TV right now. Created by Vince Gilligan and his team.

Oprah Winfrey gets real with Lindsay this time

March 25, 2014

Oprah Winfrey had a lot of TRPs riding on this show. Hence, when Lindsay Lohan continually failed to show up for filming sessions for the docuseries on LiLo’s journey to sobriety, Miss Winfrey decided to personally get LiLo’s act together.

The drama occurred after the 27-year-old actress decided she no longer wanted cameras around to document her daily life story. When the talk-show queen caught wind of Lohan's desire to shirk her commitment, she made a trip to Lohan's mom's house in Long Island to tell LiLo what it's like. Only she didn’t mince her words this time.

Taking off with motherly warmth and compassion, Oprah confronted Lohan by saying. "If you're not ready to keep the commitment that you made with me and the rest of the crew, I really am. Because, when I said that in the interview, I know it was on television, I know we're on television now, but my truth is that I really do want you to win. I really do."

Lohan told Winfrey that she simply wasn't comfortable being filmed all the time, but Oprah just wasn't buying it, telling Lohan to "cut the bullsh*t”. The OWN queen asked her if she has been sober and LiLo answered ‘Yes’ to that. “Hello! Look at that! Let’s celebrate that!” said Oprah and hi-fi-ed her. It was then Lohan broke down on camera.

The rest of the story is a must watch on the video along with.
